RV College of Engineering

RV college of Engineering is an autonomous Engineering college in Bangalore, affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) owned and operated by a non-profitable trust; Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust (RSST). The institution was established back in 1963, and it is one of the oldest self-financing engineering colleges in the whole country.

There are more than 150 engineering colleges located in Karnataka under VTU and among them RV College of Engineering is one of the top private colleges. RVCE is also approved by AICTE, UGC.

Management quota admissions are given based on merit. 25% of the total seats are reserved for Management quota admission in RV college of engineering.

RV College of Engineering Admission Process

For admissions to any M.Tech courses, a candidate must have a valid GATE score or Karnataka PGCET score. Other than this, a candidate needs to fulfill the eligibility criteria as mentioned below.

  • Should secure an average score of 50% in all the subjects( 45% in case of SC/ST candidates) in his or her qualifying examination from a recognized Board.

  • Candidate needs to even fulfill the course-specific eligibility criteria as laid by the college.
